Approved pension plan administrators should have regard to current guidance notes issued by the Commission. The purpose of a guidance note is to provide administrators with practical advice or steps on how they are to comply with the Act’s and Regulations requirements or Commission directives in carrying out their regulatory responsibilities, or otherwise meet the Commission’s expectations in doing so.
Before issuing any formal guidance notes, the Commission will publish a draft and take into consideration any representations it receives on the draft guidance.
